NRIO selected in Top 10 Brain Injury Hospitals in Toronto and Ontario
The Neurologic Rehabilitation Institute of Ontario (NRIO) was selected by Lerner’s to the top 10 brain injury rehabilitation hospitals in the Toronto and Ontario (Canada) region. It’s an exclusive list with NRIO as the only privately held, community-based, non-hospital setting in the group. NRIO was founded in 1993 by Dr. Rolf Gainer who continues to serve as the Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Gainer also serves the Chief Executive Officer of Brookhaven Hospital, home to the Neurologic Rehabilitation Institute.
Dr. Gainer said “NRIO’s selection by Lerner’s Top 10 List recognizes our organization for its excellence and it’s important place in the brain injury continuum of care. As the only non-hospital in the group I am especially proud of NRIO’s achievements.” Dr. Gainer also talked about NRIO’s accreditation through Accreditation Canada which represents stringent national standards for organization’s serving people with brain injuries. “NRIO’s focus on quality and achieving durable outcomes for its clients has always set us apart” Dr. Gainer commented when asked about NRIO’s programs.
We at the Neurologic Rehabilitation Institute at Brookhaven Hospital are pleased to congratulate our related company, NRIO on their success and recognition.
