Rising Fatalities for Older Bikers

Older motorcyclists are at a greater risk for having an accident which will result in injury or death and more of us are reliving our youth or getting on motorcycles for the first time. As we age, our reaction time slows down making those "skin of our teeth" escapes less likely to occur. Helmet use is also dropping in states where helmets are not required by law. Prevention of a brain injury or death involves safety. Cycle smart! Wear a helmet and protective gear, don't drink and drive, know your limits.
