UCLA Football Player Makes Tough Decision
Patrick Larimore, a UCLA football player, made a tough decision to give up college football and his dream of playing in the NFL after sustaining his sixth concussion. Patrick started playing football in the fifth grade and focused his life around the game. Even at Halloween, Patrick dressed as a football player.
With each concussion he experienced problems which became more significant as his brain injuries mounted. His sixth concussion left him with the difficult decision of giving up the game he loved and his lifetime dream. Patrick understood the consequences of his injuries and the increasing risks he faced and retired from the UCLA team.
