Peer Resources Bring About Change
Access to peer support resources can greatly improve the lives of people living with brain injury disabilities. Peer support programs can be found through the state and provincial Brain Injury Associations and Brain Injury Alliances and there are also websites and internet resources operated by people living with brain injuries which offer much information.
Here at NeuroNotes, we welcome the opportunity to help you connect with resources and supports. Recently we received a request from one of our readers to connect with Craig Phillips, who operates two websites for people living with brain injury disability. Craig’s sites offer self-help articles and videos filled with great information. Our NeuroNotes reader is bringing a family member home and was looking for information to help her in her role as caregiver and had learned about Craig’s work through this blog.
You can connect with Craig’s sites at: secondchancetolive.org and createasparkofhope.com
If you know of other valuable resources to share please let us know by connecting with us through this blog.
