U.S. Department of Defense Shares a Guide To Returning Children To School After a Concussion
The Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Care Center in Silver Spring, Md., released a 26-page guide this week which seeks to offer practical advice on how to recognize the signs and symptoms of a concussion, and well as information on treatment and recovery. The Parent’s Guide to Returning Your Child to School After a Concussion also teaches parents what can be done to support a child’s rehabilitation and return to both mental and physical activity.
